Jacobs Consultancy acquired John F. Brown Company (JFB), a management
consulting firm in August 2007. Founded in 1973, JFB is a nationally recognized
airport management consulting firm specializing in financial planning and business
advisory services for clients in the United States. JFB is now part of the Aviation
Management Consulting division of Jacobs Consultancy. In making the announcement,
JFB President Mike Brown stated, "Both of our firms have a long-term, demonstrated
commitment to serving airports, to excellence, and to innovation. This transition
makes sense for John F. Brown Company, for Jacobs Consultancy, and more importantly,
for the clients we will serve together." Jacobs Consultancy Transport Practice

NEW HIRES
Theresa Coutu has joined Jacobs Consultancy as a Director
in our Chantilly, Virginia office. Theresa will lead our Federal Practice Group
to expand our services with the federal government. She has 27 years of aviation-related
experience. Prior to joining Jacobs Consultancy, Theresa focused on security
government relations/legislation, policy, marketing, facilities, and funding
with leading aviation technology providers. Previously, she was Director of Regulatory
Affairs with AAAE.
Gary Davies has joined Jacobs Consultancy as an Associate Director
and will be working out of our Chantilly, Virginia office on various business
and finance projects. Gary has 28 years of airport management experience
with the Maryland Aviation Administration, owner and operator of Baltimore/Washington
International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and Martin State Airport (MTN),
which is BWI's reliever airport. During his years at MAA, Gary had responsibility
for BWI and MTN rate-setting, airline, rental car, and concessionaire negotiations,
and has overseen the development of virtually every type of revenue-producing
airport contract.
