Prior Experience:
Steve Morris was a vice president and the aviation practice director in the
western United States and the Pacific for a major transportation firm. As
the western aviation practice director, Steve oversaw business and marketing,
budgets, relationships, operations, and staff development. He supported several
major programs and served as principal and senior manager on major projects,
including south airfield improvements, Master Plan implementation, and planning
for new large aircraft at Los Angeles International Airport; Master Plan for
Ontario International Airport; Master Plan and Terminal 2 West development at
San Diego International Airport; comprehensive development plan and third runway
at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport; airport improvements at Salt Lake City
International Airport; terminal expansion at Tucson International Airport; terminal
and runway development at Long Beach Airport; Master Plan and terminal
and airfield development at Anchorage International Airport; and terminal development
at Boise Airport.
Steve was also involved in the New Panama City Airport Project. He was responsible
for planning the new greenfield site, including forecasting, programming, planning,
designing, alternatives development, state and federal funding, project approvals,
and the Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement.
Earlier, while managing the international aviation planning practice for an
airport concessions company, Steve was project manager for the privatization
of the Berlin (Germany) Airports System, which involved acquisition and development
of the new airport for the re-unified Germany. He oversaw programming, forecasting,
planning, alternatives development, documentation, and client presentations for
this $3 billion project.
Steve also has an airline background. He oversaw all facility developments and
construction for a major U.S. airline, including development of three major hub
airports and development of corporate airline operations in 65 cities in three
countries. |
