Dr Richard Sharp has
more than 31 years of experience in airport strategy, privatization, commercialization,
business planning and regulation. His experience of airport privatization and
regulation spans 23 years, starting with the first ever privatization of a major
airports group (BAA) and the negotiation of the first ever regulatory price formula.
Since then he has worked on major issues at airports in a wide range of countries
(and regulatory frameworks) in Europe, Australia, Asia, North America, and the
Caribbean.

Prior Experience:
Prior to joining Jacobs Consultancy, Richard
was a Senior Vice President with Macquarie Group’s airport team overseeing
regulation and charging issues throughout the group as well as dealing with business
planning, asset management and strategic issues. Prior to that, Richard was a
partner of The Portland Group having started his career with BAA where he became
Deputy Director Corporate Strategy and Head of Regulatory Strategy. |
