Paul Puckli has more than 30 years of experience in aviation planning and
environmental analyses. Paul has been responsible for the administration
and oversight of over 100 airport consulting assignments, including: numerous
FAR Part 150 noise compatibility studies, master planning projects, airport site
feasibility studies, airport site selection studies, aviation system plans, and
environmental analyses. Having established a reputation as a planning
professional, he has been called upon throughout the industry to apply his knowledge
and experience on a wide variety of issues.
Prior Experience: Paul led the national aviation planning practice
for two major transportation infrastructure firms and was responsible for coordinating
and overseeing the aviation consulting efforts of these nationwide consulting
practices.
For the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, Paul managed the comprehensive
master plan for San Diego International Airport. He also managed the on-call
planning tasks to provide technical support to the Metropolitan Washington Airports
Authority in addressing a variety of issues at Washington Dulles International
and Reagan Washington National airports.
For the City of St. George, Utah, financial feasibility study, Paul managed
the financial planning efforts to identify and secure, through a Letter of Intent
grant application, the necessary funding for development of the new commercial
service airport under development in St. George. He also managed a 5-year,
on-call planning engagement at Asheville Regional Airport. Under contract
to the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, Paul managed and performed quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC) reviews of the planning component for siting and design of a
new aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) facility at Reno/Tahoe International
Airport.
Paul managed the comprehensive FAR Part 150 noise compatibility study for
Salt Lake City International Airport, which resulted in major revisions to aircraft
traffic patterns and land use development in the airport environment. He
also managed the FAR Part 150 noise study for Boise Airport. For the Metropolitan
Knoxville Airport Authority, Paul managed the environmental assessment (EA) for
the extension of Runway 5L at McGhee Tyson Airport. Paul also managed the Tennessee
Statewide Airport System Plan to determine the aviation needs of the State and
to provide decision-making guidance on Statewide airport capital improvement
projects.
Over the years, Paul has managed a number of consulting assignments at Baton
Rouge Metropolitan Airport. He has also managed several planning engagements,
including the master plan, environmental assessment of airfield improvements,
and terminal facility plan related to the recently completed airport terminal
improvement program.
At Fort Wayne International Airport in Indiana , Paul managed the terminal
facility planning that provided airport staff with sizing criteria and conceptual
layouts for the terminal renovation program. |
