Gene Lewis has more than 30 years of experience in planning major airports and airline passenger terminals involving over $20 billion of investments. He helped plan the world's first "landside/airside" people-mover terminal concept for Tampa International Airport. This innovative people-mover concept has become the model for virtually all new major airport terminals throughout the world. Gene also assisted in developing the master plan for the Skycenter terminal complex at Huntsville International Airport in Alabama. This unique planning concept included a hotel, professional offices, industrial park, and recreational facilities as integral parts of the passenger terminal complex.

Gene has developed many other innovative plans for major airports and passenger terminal complexes that combine new terminal building design technologies with intraterminal people-mover systems, public transit, and large shopping malls. In his career, Gene has developed terminal plans and implementation programs for more than 30 airports.
