Currently supporting projects at Florida's Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International
Airport, Alceste Venturini is a transportation engineer with expertise in airport
strategic planning, airport master plans, and in detailed planning, design, and
construction management of public and private airport/transportation capital
infrastructure development facilities. His 14 years of transportation planning
experience, with emphasis on aviation planning and infrastructure privatization,
includes airfield planning and design, airport and pavement maintenance management,
and traffic/transportation planning and engineering.
Prior Experience:
Previously, Alceste served as Director of Planning, Infrastructure Development,
and Maintenance for an international private airport operator in Latin America.
In that capacity, he successfully managed the master plans for Bolivia's three
international airports (Viru Viru-Santa Cruz, La Paz, and Cochabamba) that involved
developing short- and long-term planning facilities, passenger terminal buildings
and associated facilities, general aviation and air cargo terminals, as well
as airfield planning and capacity studies. Alceste personally led the development
and integration of the subsequent detailed planning, design, and construction
management for the capital infrastructure program's expansion and modernization.
In addition to coauthoring the Transportation Public Infrastructure Privatization
Law and Regulations, Alceste also prepared bid documents for the privatization
of the Bolivian Highway System.
Alceste has participated and managed more than 20 projects in traffic engineering,
urban public transportation planning, road and highway planning and design, and
ground-transportation master plans at municipal, regional, metropolitan and national
levels in Latin America.
A strong construction management background enhances his transportation expertise.
As Deputy Director for a major Italian Infrastructure firm in South America,
he was involved in developing several major civil engineering public works. |
